Parented Program, Ages 0-6

Program Description:

Every week families will be introduced to a new artist and processed-based art projects. Children will be able to explore different mediums and get creative. These activities open a space for all family members to participate. Be sure to dress for the mess!

This program is supported by the FRN and does NOT require a membership to the YMCA.

Outcomes:

Exposure to art provides kids with the tools they need to develop creative problem solving skills, communicate opinions in a variety of ways and adapt to and respect other points of view. Not only that, when a child is able to express themselves in a creative way, they develop self-esteem, self-discipline and self-motivation – all key life skills.
