Lynette’s Story
Meet Lynette, one of our cherished reception volunteers.
Her warmth and unwavering dedication brighten every corner of KARA. Lynette’s kindness ensures that every visitor feels seen and supported. She says, "Volunteering at KARA has given me more than I could ever give back. It’s my second family." Lynette’s story is just one of many that show the incredible impact of volunteering.
Sophie’s Story
Meet Sophie, one of our wonderful volunteer drivers with the COBS Bread team.
She helps pick up and deliver freshly made bread and pastries, ensuring they make their way to families who need them most. Her commitment not only supports food sustainability in our community but also brings comfort and nourishment to countless families. Sophie notes, “I love being part of something that helps families feel cared for.”
Grant’s Story
Meet Grant, one of our dedicated summer event volunteers.
At our annual Kickoff to Summer BBQ, Grant plays a big part in making the day run smoothly by helping with setup and serving food to families with a welcoming smile. His efforts ensure that everyone feels cared for and included, creating a warm and festive atmosphere for all. Grant shares that, “I enjoy helping out wherever I can. It’s great to see families in the community come together.”
